Aristolochia
pearcei found in flowering desert Chile 2000. This is an insect eating plant.
Insects are attracted by the strong smell and get trapped in the hairs. In popular
medicine the root is used to help the expulsion of the placenta after childbirth.
The other variety, Aristolochia Aristolochia chilensis is similar but larger
and more brown
