PATAGONIA

Jenifer Greene: She is the general manager responsible for making all Ecocamp operations work around the clock and for putting all the pieces together. With experiences in both managing and traveling she fits perfectly into the role of housekeeper in the wilderness.

Armando Iglesias: (33) A genuine Patagonian horseman born and grown at an "Estancia" in Tierra del Fuego. After obtaining a degree in tourism he started guiding in Torres del Paine NP where he acquired vast knowledge in wildlife particularly bird life. Armando guides our trekking, willife and horseback riding trips.

Rodrigo Meunier: (28) Has spend half of his life in the mountains either rock climbing or ascending high peaks, mainly in the northern Andes and Bolivia. To cope with mothern life, Rodrigo obtained a degree in Toursit Managment in Chile and post graduate degree in Belgium.

Pedro Moita: (39), After having visited Patagonia for the first timein 1993, this Portuguese man from Lisbon came back four years later to establish himself. Pedro specializes in Torres del Paine flora, fauna and geology and he can share his knowledge in four different languages.

Joan Vilamitjana: (33) Born in Chile but raised in the US, Juan is bi-cultural but with one single passion, mountaineering. He has been guiding for the past 5 years in Patagonia during the summer and traveling and climbing in the winter.

Tomás Marusic: (21) He grew up on the Estancia Las Torres ranch, at the foot of the Paine spires. At the age of 13, he was wearing Gaucho outfits and leading tourists around Torres del Paine National Park. owadays he is an assistant trekking guidefor Cascada.

Marcelo Pagani: Marcelo is an experienced mountaineer and climber that has widely explored the Patagonean peaks. Now he enjoys sharing his time and calm way of life with the guests at Hosteria El Pilar. He supervises and also guides our treks in Los Glaciares NP.

Manuel Castillo: Manolo grew up in the beautiful Maipo Valley near Santiago and first came to Patagonia 3 years ago to help with the construction of the Ecocamps and decided to stay. Manolo is well known for his ever-smiling face even with the thoughest Patagonian windstorms.

MOUNTAINEERING & ALTITUDE TREKS

Andrés Middleton: (41) He has been on mountainsides since childhood, either with a pair of skis or mountain boots on his feet. Andrés leads most of our high-altitude mountain trips in the Andes.

MAIPO VALLEY

Roberto Herrera: His preferred place is a river! When not busy finishing hislawyer career, Roberto is guiding our Maipo trips. He alsohandles all the river safety procedures.

Sebastian Herrera: He is an expert kayaker and rafting guide, he has been running rivers with Cascada since 1993. Sebastian is also finishing a B.A. degree in Santiago.

Patricio Andrade: Mostly guiding rafting trips in the Maipo river, Patricio also works at our main office developing and improving all our reservation systems.

Nicolas Yerovi: Rafting guide, safety kayaker and instructor, Nicolas hasbeen running rivers since he was 15. Nicolas guides our rafting trips in the Maipo river.

Agustin Jaramillo: Mostly guiding rafting trips in the Maipo river

Jose Olivos: Mostly guiding rafting trips in the Maipo river

Benjamin Astorga: Mostly guiding rafting trips in the Maipo river

Liliana Astorga: She is probably the most experienced horse-woman on this part of the continent. Has led more than 100 trips into the high isolated Andes with the constant support of her loyal "arrieros" and animals.

LAKE DISTRICT

Maximo Gonzalez: (48) Max is our head of logistics in the Lake District and guides many of our overland journeys in he region and into Argentina. He knows where to stop for the best "pan amasado"and friendliest talks. As an enthusiast mountaineer he has summited different peaks in the region.

Alex Koller: (34) After having climbed and guided many expeditions in the Andes, he established himself in Pucón to keep up with canyoning, trekking, mountain-biking, climbing and backcountryskiing at their best location. Alex guides trekking trips whether though deep green forests or along the icy trail of a smoky volcano.
